A project that was inspried by the game DREDGE by Black Salt Games. I took art from in the game and made it as if you plucked it off the deck of the fishermans boat, and right onto your wall!
The anchovy was sculpted using polymer clay, painted with soft body liquitex acrylics, sealed and mounted to a wooden plaque, and finished with a brass nameplate.
I was so invested in this little guy I had forgotton to tame many progress pics, so its quite the jump from digital mock up, to pretty much done. That being said, he was such fun to work on especially after the massive undertaking of my last sculpture from DREDGE, The Oarfish.
He measures about 3.5 inches long and 1.5 inches at his widest point. Not too bad for a little anchovy!
